About us and the Cheriton Guest House in Sidmouth

Stan Cookson and Julian Mead welcome you to the Cheriton. This pleasant, comfortable well apportioned guest house is located on the main road 0.3 miles and within just a few minutes walking distance of the centre of the regency town of Sidmouth, Devon.

The rear of the property overlooks the popular Byes park and the hills beyond.

The Cheriton's lush, beautifully presented garden will bring you to the River Sid. A bridge, very close by, provides pedestrian access to the park and a very pleasant alternative walk through the park into the town or to the seafront.

We want the Cheriton to be a place where people can enjoy a quiet break, enjoy a holiday or meet with family and friends.

Food is freshly prepared using locally sourced good quality ingredients.

We have a small car park at the back of the house accessed from the side road at the end of the terrace.
